What is Ruta Cholula?

It is an online community guide, built with a narrative and territorial focus. Through articles, directories, and multimedia content, Ruta Cholula highlights the different aspects that make up life in Cholula: from restaurants with a unique identity to little-known parks, local shops, traditions, historical sites, and social campaigns.

The project not only seeks to promote tourism, but also to strengthen the local social and economic fabric. Ruta Cholula promotes responsible consumption, the preservation of public spaces, and citizen participation in issues such as animal care, environmental cleanliness, and recycling.

What makes Ruta Cholula special?

• Narrative with identity: Each space is presented through the eyes of our canine characters:

  • Tobias, the foodie dog, visits the best restaurants, inns, and cafes.

  • Tony, the historian, takes us through archaeological sites, streets steeped in history, and the legends of Cholula.

  • Princess, the explorer, Find magical corners, craft shops, and charming spaces.

  • Vaca, the neighborhood watchdog, participates in community campaigns and promotes responsible living in the city.

• Territorial Content: The project is structured with interactive maps, geolocated articles, and information sheets that allow users to locate and learn about each point of interest.

• Social and environmental commitment: Ruta Cholula is aligned with causes such as dog and cat sterilization, recycling campaigns, food collection, space cleanups, and environmental education. These events are documented and disseminated through the platform.
